Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 2026
Your privacy is paramount. This Privacy Policy describes how Driver Licence 2026 ("the App") collects and uses information through the App and its synchronized back-end services (including fuel-verify.uklicence.com).
1. Information We Collect
- Device Identifier (UUID/Android ID): We collect a unique Device ID via background API triggers. This is strictly used to manage your Fuel balance, prevent fraudulent behavior in the in-app economy, and track daily claims without requiring a user login.
- IP Address: Temporarily logged by our serverless triggers during request headers. This is used strictly for rate-limiting and preventing DDOS attacks to ensure app stability.
- Analytics & Performance: We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to record anonymous usage patterns and session crashes. This helps us understand which lessons are most helpful and fix technical bugs.
- No Personal Identity Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers. Your study progress is tied to your device.
2. Advertising & Third Parties
- The App uses Google AdMob for monetization.
- AdMob operates its own policies compliant with GDPR and CCPA. A native Consent Manager is provided for users in the UK and European zones to manage advertising preferences.
3. Local Storage & Security
- Encryption: Core static databases (lesson content) are encrypted locally to prevent tampering.
- Secure Transfer: All communication between the App and our verification servers is conducted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
4. Contact & Data Rights
For GDPR data deletion requests (e.g., resetting your Device ID association) or legal inquiries, contact: support@uklicence.com.
